Welcome to Houston, Texas, and Beyond.  I want to thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll return often.

You’re probably wondering what this blog is about and why that photograph?  Well, I’ll tell you.  This blog is about my experiences as I live this wonderful life and sharing those with you.  The intent of sharing these experiences is to get you out there and thinking about doing something similar.

If you read about me and as you get to know me better through this blog, you’ll come to realize that what really matters in this life is not the material things you accumulate, but rather the experiences you have and the memories you collect.

My hobbies are simple – I love to travel and I love photography.  I like good food, good wine, and good music.  I enjoy art – but I am not an art “aficionado”.  Most of all, I love to share those experiences with great friends.  That is what this blog is about – extending that sharing to you and by doing so hoping that you go out and create experiences and memories for yourselves.

If at any time you want to contact me, please use the contact form to do so.  If you want to sign up for a future newsletter, please do so – I promise there will be no spam.  If you like the photographs you see, please consider purchasing them (on-line shop coming soon).  If you like the products I mention in the articles, please consider purchasing them through the provided links (coming soon).  If you see me talk about a product or review one, please rest assured that it is an honest review.

Oh, back to the photograph.  I’ve written an article about it (read about it here), but it was taken in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District and it struck me.  At first, I didn’t “get it” – the part about “go away” – but when it clicked I found it to be one of the most inspirational pieces of street art I had ever seen.  Such a simple message yet so powerful.  It reminded me of the old “don’t just sit there, do something” and it made me finally start this blog after having it in my head as an “idea” for several months.

So, please come back often and share with your friends!
